The holiday season is almost here and there is really no better time to plan and decide where exactly you would like to have your vacation. Europe stands out as a continent of choice for most tourists all over the world and the reason for that may not be farfetched, for one, Europe has a uniquely rich historical heritage as well as the fact that it boasts of awesome scenery as you go from country to country, city to city. However, it is important to state that it may not really be feasible to visit all the countries in Europe due to one reason or the other; this is why I have decided to attempt to highlight a few places in Europe where you ought to pay a visit.
France: Le Havre
When people hear France, the first place that comes to their mind is the city of Paris, however, what a lot of people fail to realize is the fact that Paris is only a tip of the iceberg. Le Havre is a small city in the northern part of France. The city which is reputed to be about 500 years old and as such, you can be sure of finding breathtaking views of its architecture especially with the unique blend of the old and the new Architectural concepts. Northern Germany
The Munich Castles have a semblance of what you find in those fairy tale books, the truth is that Berlin can appear to be a bit weird and exciting. However, one thing a lot of people may not be aware of is the fact that there are other equally exciting places to visit in Germany especially in the Northern part of the country where you have cities such as Bremen and Hamburg.
For instance, a trip to Hamburg will show you the Elbphilharmonie which is reputed to be one of the most acoustically advanced concert halls that you can find anywhere in the world. The addition of this unique Architectural masterpiece has all but sealed Hamburg’s place as a tourists delight. Another rather interesting fact about this city is that it houses the largest warehouse area in the world, what’s more? You can be sure of your safety.
Leeds United Kingdom
The truth is that if you are to place this destination side by side some other destinations in Europe, it may certainly not appear as the most desirable of the lot, however for anyone that has any form of experience with the city, they would understand why it is listed here. Features such as its posh hotels, awesome restaurants, upscale boutiques make this city travellers delight any day anytime. The fusion of the old and the new makes the city a unique place for anyone to be.
In conclusion, there are a dozen other places one may consider in Europe, however, these locations stand out mainly due to the fact that they have not yet been explored to the fullest thus giving you a sort of Christopher Columbus voyage experience.
